I started my health and fitness journey when I was 27. I used to smoke cigarettes, ate poorly, and had no regular commitment to exercise.
In 2007 I quit smoking and took up running. It was not long after that that I became passionate about nutrition.
In 2013 I found Crossfit and haven’t looked back. Shortly after starting Crossfit I changed my college major from Nursing to Kinesiology. I began exploring how I could create the greatest positive impact in the health and fitness field.
I encourage and motivate people to take responsibility for their health while fostering grit and resiliency.
I’m a Crossfit Coach and Health and Nutrition Coach at Crossfit Humanity in San Diego, CA.
For a 38 year old, I probably have WAAAY too much energy, but I lucked out because I get to spend a lot of time in the gym dancing while I work.
I hold my Crossfit-L1, ACE Certification for Health Coaching, NASM CPT, and a B.S. in Kinesiology, pre-physical therapy.
